….the journey to finding the right one…
I have been telling my friends about my dating experiences for years. While it creates great comedic material, I have been encouraged to share my crazy adventures with the world. My friends told me I needed to write a book. I considered writing a book, however, I thought that would be a daunting task. Instead, I figured a blog would better help me document my thoughts and feelings.
Sometimes I feel really excited (guy shows interest), sad (guy ghosts me), disappointed (guy does not look like his photo), connected (guy and I have great conversation), fearful (I talk to guy who I know I have no interest because I’m afraid I will never find the “one”), bored (guy talks only about how great he is) and on and on. As you can see, while some stories are pretty hilarious, some actually bring tears from the sadness that may occur during this process.
Despite all of this, I thought sharing my experience would not only help me, but others who also are facing the range of emotions that comes with dating. I know the journey to finding the right one is worth the struggles.
