There is one thing I don’t understand about some of the men on these apps. The men I’m referring to are the ones who you match with, then after an introduction they stop communicating. It goes something like this:
Me: Hi John, How are you? I really like that you love skiing. I enjoy the slopes too.
Him: Hi Dating2Mrs. You are gorgeous.
Me: Thank you John!
***two days later***
Me: Hi John, how is your week going? Anything exciting planned this weekend?
***two weeks later***
I decide to delete John. I decided a long time ago that reaching out again usually is pointless as it doesn’t yield anything. What I don’t understand is what are these men expecting?
Am I supposed to say more?
Did I say something wrong?
Are there really that many other women distracting him?
Why even match with me if you are going to ghost me?
While it no longer hurts my feelings when these things occur, I still don’t understand how people can be so inconsiderate.
